Energy Drink Design
This print project was part of my Packaging Design class, where we explored how design connects with business and product packaging. For this assignment, we were asked to create packaging for a product such as beer, soft drink, or energy drink. I chose to design a concept for an energy drink while incorporating pop culture into the design—a creative challenge that required thinking about how to merge these two ideas effectively.
I chose an outer space theme to give the design a bold, adventurous, and otherworldly feel, focusing on alien and cosmic imagery to represent exploration, excitement, and limitless energy. The design incorporates vibrant colors and fun space-inspired visuals that aim to capture attention and stand out on a store shelf.
I created mockups featuring three distinct flavors: blueberry, lime, and cherry, offering variety and choice to appeal to different tastes. This approach brought diversity to the concept while maintaining the adventurous space theme.
This project taught me more than just design it provided insight into the business side of product packaging. From branding to visual storytelling and strategic design, this project emphasized how creative concepts can connect with consumers and build successful products in a competitive market.
